All about humanoid robots.
Clear answers on applications, capabilities, research, purchase, rental and humanoid robotics projects.
What is a humanoid robot useful for today?
Today, a humanoid robot has applications in industry, where some functions are already viable, and it is also a real tool for research and development, for teaching and experimentation, and for creating brand impact at events, trade fairs and receptions. In industrial settings, some applications need to be studied beforehand according to the technical requirements of each case; our team analyses this with you to determine what is possible in your scenario.
Can a humanoid robot work in my industrial environment?
It pays to be cautious. A humanoid robot is much more than a robot that moves: it cannot do everything, and its feasibility must be studied within the automation as a whole, not in isolation. Several factors shape every project: reach and payload (the reach and the weights it can handle are limited; it does not replace heavy machinery or a dedicated high-payload industrial robot); repeatability and precision (for extremely demanding tasks they do not yet match a dedicated industrial robot). Above all, integrating it into a real automated process means reviewing many additional elements: plant layout, safety systems, interaction with other equipment and the specific tasks expected of it. That is why we study the whole picture with you before committing to results. That said, some functions are already perfectly viable today, and in them a humanoid delivers real value. Tell us what you need and we will analyse it.
How long does the battery last?
It depends on the model and the use. As a guide, battery life is between 2 and 4 hours per charge, depending on the model. In addition, depending on the model, some robots can run continuously while plugged into the mains — for example at a fixed station, a reception desk or a demonstration — without relying on the battery. We analyse your case to recommend the power setup that best suits your use.
Can I buy it or rent it?
Both. You can buy it outright — for your industry, your company, teaching or research — or rent it for a one-off event. Rental always comes with an Axon technician, ready-made demos and optional customisation, from one day to as many as you need.
Is it suitable for research? Can I program it myself?
Yes. It is a platform designed for universities, technology centres and laboratories to program, simulate, connect peripherals and develop their own applications.
Where do you operate?
We deploy humanoid robots in Spain and Latin America. For event robot rental, we cover all of Spain; for events in Latin America, ask us and we will study each case.
Who is behind Axon?
Axon is backed by Rivas Robotics, a company with 58 years of real experience in robotics and industrial automation, present in more than 15 countries. That experience lets us understand how to deploy and integrate humanoid robots alongside traditional industrial robotics: they are not mutually exclusive, they complement each other.
How much does it cost?
Each project is priced according to the model and configuration. Tell us what you need and we will prepare a proposal.
Who develops Axon robots?
We develop the Axon range ourselves, drawing on our experience in industrial automation. We start from humanoid platforms by leading international manufacturers, adapt them to each use and, when the project requires it, develop a custom robot for a specific application.
